University of Wrocław’s Centre for Oriental Law Research invites you to take part in the first interdisciplinary international conference “Orient Far and Near”, which is supposed to be a recapitulation of a cycle of lectures we’ve hosted in the past few years under the same title.
If you’re interested in all things Oriental, we invite you to present your research from the areas of law, sociology, political science, history, international relations, philology, cultural studies, philosophy, theology, and other disciplines.

The best papers will be published in the Faculty of Law’s journal Acta Erasmiana.
There’s no conference fee, however the conference dinner will be paid for individually.
